Welcome to today’s Blog! This rainbow greeted us this morning in our backyard on the salt marsh, and it seemed a fitting, hopeful photo for these trying Covid-19 times. Since our first (and hopefully not last) event of the year on March 2nd, all of our events have been cancelled up until the Avalon Memorial Day Parade, which may still be happening. We can only hope it will become safe enough to do the rest of our scheduled events (provided they also don’t have to be cancelled). Charlie, The Turtletoter, is in the high-risk category, and we are not even sure if our turtles can catch Covid-19. We continue to take joy in seeing wild live turtles and watching our own terrific turtles thrive. Turtlesinger, Inc.’s goal is to stay alive until it becomes safe to do our work of bringing our live turtle ambassadors to the public for turtle education. In the meantime, we’ll be sharing our turtle and other local animal adventures with you here. Thanks again for reading!
